WELCOME TO THE MILLSTONE GALLERY
'The Millstone Gallery' is a virtual gallery showcasing the artworks of artist Linda Anne Watson. Linda has been an exhibiting artist for a number of years. She was born in Gateshead but now lives and practises in Newcastle upon Tyne. She has exhibited around the UK and has works in many private collections.
Linda is a talented artist who can deliver paintings and drawings on a wide range of subjects and mixed media. While Linda is capable of producing works in a traditional style, much of her work is experimental combining the decorative with the real and imaginary.
She describes her work as a direct response to her surroundings, bringing to the viewer experiences in her life reflected through her colourful compositions. She is also involved in painting large murals in public places such as educational establishments, adapting and producing work appropriate to the environment she is working in.

Jesmond Dene is a beautiful, local tourist spot in the Newcastle upon Tyne area.
Walking through the Dene regularly has always been a great inspiration to Linda.
